Whether you choose your own plans or you work with us in the design build process we are still dedicated to deliver an exceptional product. That begins with pre construction. In the pre construction process we will provide you with an estimate for your build with allowances for things like appliances, lighting , plumbing, cabinets, trim, tile, countertops. This way you can customize your house the way you want to.
The next step toward your new home will be the Permiting stage. Blueprints, home site, and customizations are all pieces of the planning and permitting stage. King Construction focuses on each area with great detail to establish a plan of action and time line for your new home.
Permitting can take 2- 3 months depending on proximity to state water ways which will include erosion control plans and EPD approval. Land adjacent to state water ways typically fall into an additional 2-3 month range.
Everyone is excited were breaking ground! You can plan 6-8 months for your actual build. We utilize google software to establish a streamline communication so you know exactly what's happing at your house each day.
